Modified (MOD) Soccer is a modification of the adult game for age appropriate play and player development. We begin with small sided 3v3 (no goalies) soccer and gradually expand the field and team size until U13. Small sided soccer is much faster paced, and scores are higher than the traditional game. Players should play every position to improve player development.

Each year the size of the team increases. QASC U8 – U10 teams add players and drop players so teams usually stay unchanged for a few years. Beginning at U11 team size grows significantly and we usually need to begin combining teams. We’ll work with each coach when this happens to help ease the process. We always encourage players to register and will work to keep teams together.

Players are responsible for their own shorts, shin guards, soccer cleats and water. Parents should arrange a snack rotation for half time and after games. Girls and boys play on separate teams in separate leagues.
